In a bold move signaling unwavering support for Ukraine, the United Kingdom has unveiled its most ambitious military aid initiative to date, pledging to deliver 100,000 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by April 2026. The initiative, detailed on official government channels, is backed by £350 million (approximately $473 million) in funding, forming part of a broader £4.5 billion aid package. The announcement came from Defense Secretary John Healey during a NATO-led Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in Brussels on June 4, 2025.
